Basic Life Support - BL (Blended Learning)

You have chosen a Basic Life Support - BL (Blended Learning) course.  This course requires you to complete an online portion before attending the selected in-person skills evaluation. If you do not have the online course completed before the in-person skills evaluation you will need to reschedule and are subject to a $25 rescheduling fee. 

Step 1 – ONLINE COURSE

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a post-registration confirmation email. (Please check your spam/junk email if it takes longer than 2 hours to receive).  This email includes directions and a link to take the online course through the American Red Cross student portal for blended learning.

  • Complete this class before your scheduled skills evaluation.

 

Step 2 – SKILLS EVALUATION

Bring proof of online course completion to your in-person class, to show the instructor at check in.

After successfully completing a skills session, a 2-year, OSHA-compliant American Red Cross certification will be issued.

*Delaying your skills evaluation more than 90 days after you complete the online course, will result in a need to reschedule which is subject to a $25 fee.

Certification cards will be emailed within 24 hours after successful completion of both the online course and in-person skills evaluation.

Golden Life CPR Services is proud to be an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider, offering high-quality certification courses including Adult, Child & Pediatric CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and AED training for individuals and organizations throughout the community.

Participant Requirements

  • All participants must meet the age requirements and course standards as set by the American Red Cross and/or Golden Life CPR Center. *Please call before scheduling any participants under the age of 13 yrs old. 
  • Successful completion requires meeting the standards for both the online learning module and the in-person skills evaluation.

Code of Conduct

  • Respectful, safe, and professional behavior is expected at all times.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior toward staff, instructors, or other participants will result in immediate dismissal from the course and training center without refund.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations or reschedule requests made at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled class will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours (or no-shows) are non-refundable.
  • Registrations may be transferred to a later class depending on availability.

- Inclement Weather -

In case of severe weather, we will notify you via email or text, within 48 hours; giving you the option to cancel or reschedule the course to a later date.
